Retaining Walls

Retaining walls are complex and sometimes require engineering plans depending on the height of the wall.  Retaining wall particularly require knowledge and skill because the wall serve a safety and attractiveness purpose.  They have to be installed with a solid foundation, rebar and choice of a full concrete fill, which is my recommendation for strength or can be constructed with cinderblock.  With either option you can choose the facing be it flagstone, Vernier, dry stack, brick or other stone to compliment the caps, which are installed on top of the wall.  Still many choices to choose from including adding with or without lighting.  The final and most inexpensive way to install a retaining wall is to use wood and we always recommend redwood.
